i have recently bought it and drove it home around 300 miles with no problems and have started her 3 mornings on the trot with no problems.. since we have had the cold weather and when the car is cold (first 10 mins of driving) as i accelerate through the gears the car pops into neutral after the car heats up abit the problems go's away my engine is running cold as well temp gauge barely gets above 55 degrees.

Re: selespeed going into neutral

Cold engine = you need a new thermostat.

Dropping to neutral, could be Selespeed pump / pump relay / connections to pump / earth from pump.

Re: selespeed going into neutral

My 2003 selespeed has done that twice. But only in city mode, never done it in manual mode. I just put it down to city mode being crap.
