Clutch bearing removal (156 1.9jtd pull type)
Seen a few posts saying these can't be removed without breaking them etc (I looked the other day as my new one didn't engage correctly).
Now I will try and explain how to remove it without breaking it, please note this is done on my brand new clutch which is working fine.
So whip off that pressure plate, once removed turn it over n look for the silver ring between the gaps (there will be a slight break in this ring at some point), press against this ring with a flat head (downwards pressure but try to squeeze it in at same time) and apply pressure to the bearing and it will pop out, my mate putting a video on YouTube so will post link when it's done.
Hope this helps someone.
In case anyone was wondering it's a git of a job to change these clutches even for a confident home mechanic with experience of doing clutches these can take 1-2 days depending what issues you encounter along the way, not really a driveway job and we certainly don't want to do another in any hurry
