Trim Panels with Airbags

I am looking to install a handsfree kit in my 156 and need to remove the front pillar panel to run the wire for the microphone.

I am also planning to remove the rear quarter panel while I am at it to check the aerial booster is correctly connected as the reception is rubbish!

Do these panels just pull off with a little persuasion?

Also can I do this without deactivating the airbags somehow? Or would I be best to remove the battery leads just to be on the safe side. If so what is the procedure for this to avoid the light coming on and me having to take it to the stealer for a reset? Is it disconnect and leave for 10/15 mins....?

I don't know how those trim panels come off but before working anywhere near the airbaga remove battery and wait 15minutes.

Definately, you wouldn't want that going off in your face if you can help it. As long as you connect it all back up properly before reconnecting the battery and turning the key in the ignition, there should be no warning lights.
