This is sadly familiar to me, mine was written off when a car stopped at the end of a slip road on a 70mph limit and I didn't! My damage was less but still written off. Needed new wings (the gutter had creased), headlights, rad, slam panel, bumper, trim and bonnet. This was a f/l and 5 years old at the time.
When I got the camera out the two guys ran to their car (Mercedes) that was hardly damaged - nothing visible but the claim still went over £25K!! Sent a report + pics to the insurance company but they weren't interested.
