147 Rear Brake Light Failure
I'm back again with a new problem (yay!). My 147 sometimes beeps to warn me that the rear brake light has gone out. This wouldn't be a problem, except that it seems to be intermittent! When the warning first came on, I got a friend to stand behind the car and see which brake light it was. He identified it as the driver's side (UK right hand drive model), and tapped it as he was telling me. As soon as he tapped it though, the light came back on, and the error disappeared.
This warning has now been coming on and going off for about a month, sometimes many times in a journey, sometimes not for days at a time.
One suggestion that I found while googling the problem was a dodgy earth connection. I can't find the earth location for the rear light clusters though, does anyone know where it is?
