156 clutch and flywheel rigmarole!
Hi guys! Probably be covered a few times but just a few general questions to see if we all share the same views on some things....
My Alfa is remapped, and seems to drive great for all I've driven it (only just bought it and it's not motd yet)
When the power kicks in with the full pedal the clutch is slipping
I know people say it's good practice to change the flywheel when changing the clutch, as is the release bearing, but after pricing the flywheel I see it's quite expensive.
First off... Should I definitely replace the flywheel too or do these cars generally have a decent flywheel that should be fine saying as the clutch has only started slipping?
Where's the best / cheapest place to get a fly wheel and or clutch for it?
I've seen advertisers say 1.9 /2.4 jtd clutch... Are they the same on the 5 speed 10v?
Because it's remapped, should I be uprating it?
There is a fella that relines clutches near to me, is that a silly idea or are they every bit as good?
Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated, I seem to be getting mixed feedback on this
Thanks in advance
