Not much performance gain, but a bit more responsive.
Mainly got one for ease of maintenance, cos my airbox was falling apart more and more every time i changed the filter element.
But, the noise.......Wow!!!!, sounds totally awesome-Really!!!
You would think it was a Dump Valve blowing off, if you are hard throttle and short shift, every gearchange is follwed by a loud "WOOOSH"!, also a lot more Turbo whistle, as it allows more open airflow to it, Typically, what i love to do is, mid-revs in 2nd, then floor the throttle!, a lovely loud turbo whistle upto 5,000rpm, and rapido speed, followed by a loud "whoosh" again up into 3rd.
Obviously, as regards a petrol engine, i cant really say how it would sound and perform.
