Handling still poor - advice pre alignment

Alignment booked in for next Saturday.

So far - all 4 wishbones, rear transverse arm, hub bushes and 4 shocks all changed, as well as the steering rack! Handling is squirmish and steering wheel is off centre.

The guy who did the steering rack and front shocks does not have laser gear, so I am assuming laser alignment will sort me out.

However, before I get alignment, is there anything else likely to be needed? For example, would trailing arms and front transverse arms be overkill? I am assured that there is no major play here, so hoping alignment will put an end to my handling woes.

I was driving it today, so not windy unlike yesterday.

Re: Handling still poor - advice pre alignment

Or find somebody local with an alignment dyno.

aligns the car as a whole, v sensitive kit. Put a spanner on the adjuster and touch it and it can tell. Found my local guy when Kwik Fit wouldn't touch aligning my old 155 a few years back. The car was absolutely transformed.

After one of the guys at work's 156 had been to him, he seriously considered not selling it (he had been until that point and was picking up his new car a week after )

Might be what you are looking for
