Crank sensor gone-drive to garage?
My wife came Home by RAC last night after breaking down on a main road in the centre of Blackburn. Crank sensor is the issue on her 156 1.8TS, and the car is at Home, but our Alfa specialist is approx. 10 miles away. Reading all the threads about needing small hands/arms makes me not want to do it myself.
My wife seems to think that so long as the revs stay above idle speed, the car won't stall, but am I silly to attempt driving the car there? I can go a way that should avoid much stopping, but the engine temperature is going to be upto normal well before I get there.
Converted to Alfa by the mrs, and I thank her lots.
