52 reg 156 Sport Wagon Rear Suspension
firstly I know we have lots of posts on this, but i cant seem to work out what is right or not.
the car seems to sit incredibly low and the slightest amount of weight and a bump causes the wheels to rub on the arches, let alone getting the other half and two kids in the back.
I have a sport wagon veloce that has had the nivomat suspension removed and replaced 2 years ago with used standard saloon shocks, springs, and top mounts. last year it had new standard saloon shocks added to the car as it seemed to be pretty low and unable to take any weight in the back of the car.
I have just measured the car and the front is sitting at 360mm from center of the wheel and the back is sitting at 350mm. what should the car be as standard?
could it be i need new springs or should i be looking at a different kit all around.
any help would be great as i feel like i am chasing my tail a bit at the moment and am getting confused.
