Right all looking good for the purchase of a black clover Gt next week.
So all eyes turn to the chassis. The standard stuff has to go. Eibach arb kit is a definite.
My last Gt had Koni FSD with eibach springs. which to be fair i thought to be a pretty decent compromise for fast road use.
And need a new set up that will handle the odd track day, which i used to enjoy in my soon to be last car.
I am considering maybe at some point lightening the car, by removing the rear seat etc, and having her neatly and properly carpeted and with brace support bar fitted. I say considering at the moment. With this in mind if i go shocks and springs doing this removal of dead weight will raise the rear suspension. Which is why i am thinking a coilover kit might be a better solution.
I have had experience with with the adjustable damping bilstein b16 kit and found it just ok to be honest. Nothing to shout about considering the price.
Ned mentioned the eibach pro coilover kit for the GT. And to be honest i have read some good reviews online.
Would like to know the ride quality of the kit on a GT chassis though and how it compares to the Koni FSD/eibach set up i used to have. Or to be honest guys any other coilover options that will give all round performance and decent ride quality.
Thanks in advance.
