Alfa 156 - Overheating problem
I have a 156 2.5 L V6 Alfa, year 1998. The problem is the car starts to rapidly overheat
while driving, but not while idling. The radiator is cold, but it gets a little bit warm when I open the radiator bleeding valve. There is no coolant in the reservoir, but when overheating it starts boiling and steaming out of the cap, around 110 degrees. Also I noticed there is some kind of liquid in the bottom of the air filter housing. If its a air lock, how do you bleed this thing?
- No milky oil cap or stick
- Spark plugs look good
- No powerloss
- The muffler has a Big hole, about to replace it
- Thermostat is good
- The air conditioner does not give ANY heat, it is Cold.
I will appreciate any advice. Thanks!
