Couple of little issues.
Have a 147 - it has driven me round the bend. Changing the springs this weekend as rear driver side has dropped. Have got LO ones from eBay as from what I've read they seem to be good quality (I haven't heard of anyone having any issues with them) and they will drop it a little also which should be nice as it sits disturbingly high on OEM springs. I will also be looking into a few other recent little treats whilst doing this; I have aknoacking noise from the front end at low speed (may be present / probably is present at higher speeds but don't hear it for road-noise) which I believe to be the bushes on the roll-bar. Going to get a hold of them from euro car parts and get tucked into it. My front driver susp is also squeeking, which I've been informed is likely the bushes on there so looking at that too - may change them or the entire suspension arm, will wait to see on price.
My current issue though is the cigarette lighter. I'm moving it to the glovebox. I've got it out (a lot more difficult and frustrating than it really ought to be) and have the wires snipped. Now, my problem: stuck a V-meter on there and am having issues. There's 3 cables which go to the original cigarette lighter; there's only 2 on the one that I'm going to splice into it. I don't know which is which. There's a white, yellow and green (and black?); sticking the voltmeter on there I get nothing from the green/ black one and white one - completely and the yellow is ~3v without lights on and 12v with them on - so assuming that's the light that used to be around the lighter (though not sure why I'm getting 3v?). The other 2 I have no idea. The cigarette lighter worked when I last used it (albeit that nothing fit in it properly because Alfa made it bigger than the standard size of every single cigarette lighter plug in circulation).
Any ideas on what's what so I can hopefully get this wired up and in the glovebox (which I'll be drilling as soon as I'm good to go)?
