This is for a 2004 Selespeed GT JTS 2.0.
My selespeed is bunny jumping after a while in traffic jam (RPMs go up to 2.5K/3K before it even tries to engage). Lately, even cold, it is having some issues (on a much smaller scale tho) when maneuvering at very low speeds (typically out of my parking).
Overall the gear changes are a bit rough (I have to apply zero throttle during gear changes to make it smooth).
I've researched a bit on the subject and came up with a few possibilities:
- Clutch worn or damaged (it has 62K miles)
- Clutch solenoid on its way out
- Clutch position sensor?
I have adjusted the clutch rod length a couple month ago with a slight improvement for a while (then back to what it used to be).
Any suggestions, or tests I could perform to pinpoint the issue? A clutch change is roughly 1K€, the solenoid is 300€, so I'd rather have it right on the first try.
Thanks a lot folks! Any help is really appreciated!
