will these mg alloys fit

hi guys, will these alloys fit a 156, always liked the look of them and hoping with wobbly bolts they might fit?

cheers Jon

I dont think they would look all that great on the 156. I did see a guy years ago in Hull who had a 2.5 V6 with white 0Z alloys...think before he had a 155 - super cool cars!

Member car:

Alfa 156 Gta

not without a fair amount of work..

not sure what the offset is on your car and why these are listed et 35 to 50 lol cant be both unless front and rear of the MG is different though i doubt it..

but the main issue is the centre bore is 56.1mm where the alfas are 58.1mm iirc so each wheel would need a competent engineering firm to open the out the centre bore and then as above you would need to run wobble bolts as well..

Yes you'd need wobbly-bolts, but:
Centre-bore is too small.
Not clear what the offset is.
Tyre size is wrong too (you'd want 225/40R18)

typos1 on here has 17" MG alloys on his 147 JTD, maybe worth asking him what was required to fit. Apparently they are quite a bit lighter than the equivalent Alfa 17" rims.

Looked into fitting mg zt alloys on my old gtv. My main concern was the bolt width. Mg are m14 and Alfa are m12. If you're struggling to find 5x98 go for an aftermarket vw 5x100 with wobble bolts. The manufacturers usually use aluminium spigot rings which you can knock out and replace for the correct bore
