Really annoying squeek in my 147!

bit hard to describe this, but basically I get a really annoying squeak coming from somewhere when I turn my steering wheel to the right. It doesn't have to be full lock or turning a corner, just a gentle touch of the steering wheel whilst driving. sounds a bit like a fan belt. it also seems to stop for a second when i dab at the brake.
Now It was happening a while ago and had to change my power steering pump because it was graunchy, had the belt done at the same time and hoped this may cure it, but alas no. It's not permanent, its intermittent, but my god its a pain!
Has anyone else had this, and does anyone have any ideas?

If it stops when you apply the brakes I would hazard a guess that it's possibly a pad binding or excessive lip on the disc.
