Before i put my engine back i feel a must at least try to turbo her, ive only done 1 before and that was a old escort cab and put a rs turbo on it , but that was 20 odd years ago.
So has any one tried fitting a 2.0 v6 turbo to a 2.5 or 3.0 or 3.2 156 .
Ill only be after a small boost.
Plan was to open up the combustion chamber to lower compression and get the turbo and manifolds from a 2.0 with some fancy welding and make it all fit.
so wondered if it was possible without changing the valves as i thought they had starlite seats or similar from the factory to cope with unleaded heat.
what compression should i aim for and how much meat should be milled out of the chamber and how similar are the 2.0 v6 in dimensions to the 2.5 and on like the manifolds.
hope someone can shed some light so i have something to work on.
And no i dont want to try fit a supercharger that will be a pain and costly, asi can use breakers for 2.0 turbo parts
thanks in advance
