156 Soft Old Suspension Advice Needed
Over the last 4 years my 156 has had the majority of big jobs done however the ride quality is degenerating massively.
It didnít have any advisories on the MOT in January but the shocks are getting old. The car is a 2.4 10V with Sports kit, I have checked shop4 parts and 4 shocks would be £181 delivered. Is this the best route to go down? should I replace the springs as well.
I want to keep the costs down as much as possible but make the ride better and not fused on sports kits etc. I drive the 159 now and the 156 is used for short journeys by the wife, the ride needs to be comfier and safe!
My wife wants to sell it and get a small petrol car with cheaper tax/insurance however I just think the 156 has had most the big jobs done why would we sell it and get a smaller engine car of the same age which I donít know the history of.
At least I know what has been done to the 156
Ideas welcome, links very welcome,
