I have had my 156 TSpark for a few weeks now and I still smile and admire it every time I walk outside (currently sunny gentle breeze 28 degrees C or 82.4 F)
However why I am posting is that at just under 80kph (50mph) I get a mild scuttle shake. I got the wheels balanced and an alignment done as amatter of course however the shake is still evident.
It only occurs in a narrow speed band of about 1-5kph. I have read a few other threads on this forum that leads me to think it may be engine mounts on the way out. The car has done 60,000 k's and is a 1999 model.
P.S. for those that are interested the car cost me $16,500 Aust when an average wage is around $50-55,000 a year. It seems Alfa's are quite expensive here compared to Europe. No surprise there I suppose.
