156 JTD 2.4 hub replacement/wheel bearing

Hi all

My front wheel bearing needs replacing (the wheel actually moves)

Reading all the previous posts i see that it needs to be pressed out/in.

Thinking a cheaper altrnative would be to replace the hub itself which i can do.

Are all the hubs with ABS the same across the 156 range? Has anyone got one for sale?

Cheers Neill

Unless you are really strapped for cash I'd get a new bearing put in.

You do normally need a press to place them back in. Yes putting in a new hub will work as a cheap alternative. But you'll have to strip the ball joints off. In which case you might destroy one taking it off the hub in the first place.
