Re: Unresponsive windscreen water jets
My 156 was the same.
A bit of trial and error quickly sorts it out.
Here are a few points I picked up.
Usually halfway up between the bottle and the windscreen there is a join (the pipe usually runs with the elctrical loom) pull it apart here, and check if it is Bottle/Motor related IE bottom half or a blockage further up. This is the easiest point to check as it needs no tools at this point. You should get a strong stream here.
If you do get a strong stream then check the Y-Split under the cover that covers the aircon filters. (The black bit where your wipers stick through.) Its two screws on either side of the car and a Wad of Clips to get it loose. I remember the middle join being tricky. (Damn Italians)
This Y split has a little pressure valve in it, which fails after a while.
The top of the Y is open IE if you blow into the one side it comes out the other.
If its algae, (Something I havent experienced in my car), use bleach or Mildew duck.
