Due to MOT failure and arrival of company car tomorrow I am selling the car rather than repair.
2003 Alfa 156 2.4 JTD SW Veloce 150 BHP version.
It has been re-mapped.
Bodywork generally good.
4 good alloys
working air con
1 tyre only 361 miles old (Dunlop) as was fitted to car for MOT
New MAP sensor (Alfa part
) (<1000 miles old)
New Maf sensor - BOSCH part (<1000 miles old)
New EGR valve - currently blanked off (<1000 miles old)
Mot failure points
N/S/F suspension has excessive play (quoted £175 to fix P&L)
1 x Boot gator leaking (can't remember amount quoted)
Welding around handbrake (estimate at £125)
currently on a space saver as one tyre is beyond buggered, I tried to eek it out way to far
Airbag light on - was taped up for MOT. Diagnostics show this to be an earth fault
Intermitant MSCF failure warning that goes out quickly. as you will see rom my posts in here it has been suggested a hose somewhere.
When parked facing up hill and it rains heavily some water can get in from around the arial mount. I was going to fix as first job after MOT as didn't want to throw more money at it after the MAF/MAP/EGR pain
I think that has covered it all.
Current MOT expires on the 21st April.
If anyone is interested I would rather it got saved or used for save other Alfas than scrapyard.
