Steering wheel radio buttons
Although I have rather more substantial mechanical problems to worry about - see my clinking noise thread - I can't help thinking about the steering wheel in my new 56k miles Alfa. The interior is in very good nick, but the radio remote buttons have worn at the edges. AR say you can get replacement buttons for £95 + VAT, or I could pick up a good condition second hand steering wheel (without airbag) off a 147 on ebay, which the merchant says is identical to a 156. A bit of spray paint would be the easiest of course, but does anyone know of the relative difficulties of either option above? Is the button replacement option for instance just a case of clipping a new bit of plastic on, or is it something that only a garage should do?
Colnago, Vespa, Alfa Romeo, not neccesarily in that order, working to add Ducati, Ferrari, Maserati, De Rosa, Ciocc, again not necessarily in that order
