We got a mamas and papas primo viaggio set, (read as b£&@££& expensive) the car seat, the cot and stand, stroller thingy that all clip on the base. With a newborn the car seat was fine to clip on to the base and use that for going out and about.
When baby's a bit bigger and you need the stroller type attachment then it's pretty good but then you need the car seat AND the stroller bit if you're out and about. It's ok as long as you have the space. The base unit goes in the 147 but not much else goes in with it. Although the wheels do unclip nicely to add a big of flexibility.
(Buy a pram/buggy with big wheels by the way, it's a lot less aggro over bumpy bits)
There's an isofix doodah but I don't think the 147 has this facility...(our 159 does bloody handy it is too).
The rear seats area is big enough to cope with the baby seat but the belt length might be a bit short. Ours was tight. Try before you buy!!! (You won't bash your head much getting baby in and out!!!)
Simple stuff like putting baby behind the driver is good too, as then the passenger can deal with bottles,etc....
Ours are both older now and the 159 is adorned with two recaros in the back...great seats, crap beeper that goes off randomly to tell you it's unclipped!!!
