I've just bought a set of inner tie rods. Then track rods for both sides.
Mainly because I've changed upper and lower wishbones and I still have knocking.
But its not from the ARB. Thats all firmly in and not making any noise.
I'm hoping its the inners and track rods / Ball joints as they are dead old at 12 years and 123k under their belts.
I've done them before on other cars and can't see this being much different.
Good old whack the ball joint out and then using the stilsens in the past i've got these off.
The knocking actually happens when the car is stationary and I move the steering wheel from side to side. I know this puts a lot of stress on the steering parts but I'm fairly sure this is where the knocking comes from.
