Alfa 156

2006 147 1.9jtd

Hi Guys

Looking some more help if possible. Just back from looking at an 06 1.9jtd 147 lusso with 108k miles, just mot'd last week. The list of work that the guy said he did is pretty comprehensive.

New front brakes discs and pads
New rear pads
New hand brake cables
Full major service
New timing belt and water pump
New trackrod ends

All electrics work and the car drives fantastic, its like **** off a shovel, very surprised at how quick it was. I have 2 concerns....

1. There is a creaking when just applying pressure on the clutch and it sounds like its from inside the car like a mechanism is catching? Is the master cyl just above the pedal could it be that? The clutch its self does not feel heavy.

2. There is oil around the top of the engine and I'm wondering if this is an expensive fix or if anyone can tell what could be causing it.

The car is 1450 and really drives well. No history at all.........

Ive attached a pic of where the oil is if anyone can help/advice. Thanks in advance.

That's the top intercooler hose. Would say its leaking due to either a split in the hose or the jubilee clip not being tight
