Nope, the 159 has not been well received in the Uk as yet and Alfa are going through a sytematic root and branch change here, so no money for marketing.
The GT uses 147/156 mechanicals which are all now ell developed and proven, with all the early glitches pretty much sorted. The Gt also uses superior materials than it's saloon/hatch sires.
it's as I say and down to supply and demand coupled with proven reliability. the Gt is , if you like, the first of the new proven breed and the first Alfa coupe to be fitted with a performance diesel.
And if I say so myself, stunningly beautiful!
