Re: Alarm fault

Hi I do have the same problem after I had recharged the battery using the jump cables. They adviced me to check the fuse for the alarm, but I have no idea where the fuse is for the alarm.

Re: Alarm fault

F1, F9 and F10 in the main fusebox under the dash and check the maxifuse box at the battery.

Silent operation can be obtained anyway if the alarm country code is set to code 5, which locks silently but flashes the indicators. Arm it with the window down then after a few seconds, stick your hand in the open window....youll soon see if its actually working as you will set off the volumetric sensors. The reset of the battery / ECU should not change the alarm country code, its stored in NV Ram.

My battery was off for hours when getting the clutch replaced, it reset the infocentre and all but did not change the alarm setting i had previously selected.
