Sounds like a bargain was missed.
I don't work in sales at all, however I may have bought the odd digital camera, perhaps repaired it and perhaps made some money or indeed in my case lost some
There was last night, a Nikon D800 full frame digital camera, basically it's one very nice piece of kit, worth second hand about £1000-£1100 someone whom takes old returned stock but does not test it had it for auction as Spares and Repairs, it went for £236, my limit was £200. I was sorely tempted to up my bid (always dangerous) but I did not. I'll always wonder if it worked or how much I could have repaired it for (DIY or pro).
There again it might have been a lump of plastic, metal and circuit board junk.
That's the choice you make. I see nothing at all wrong about what happened here
Priorities I find, are usually someone else's.
