I took the GT out for a spin today and plugged in my netbook using FiatECU scan to record various sensor readings. Turns out that my temperature gauge is reading low. Over a 30 minute drive on dual carriageways, the temperature reading on FiatECUScan varied between 74 and 84 degrees Celsius at its peak, averaging around 78. This compares with 88 degrees +/- 2 degrees according to the GT workshop manual CD. Looks like I need a new stat as waterpump and coolant had been changed with the new cam belt. How annoying...and to add to my annoyance, discovered the front drivers and rear passenger footwells were drenched!!!
