Wobble on the motorway
My specialist drove the car the other day - dry calm day, drove fine. It was also good for me. Took it on the motorway tonight, nice and windy - wobbling all over the place. Feels solid within the wobbles, so not falling off the road, just picking up the wind in a bad way.
He advises shocks are good which I believe - rolls into corners a treat. Steering nice and direct, alignment checked by 2 places and spot on.
New bones at front and rear transverse arms as well as rear stub axle bushes.
I have been told trailing arms appear fine.
However, should I still change trailing arms? No free play in steering or anything, drives perfect when not windy and corners great, just hates wind on the motorway. The wild was worse at 40 (speed cameras) than 70.
I have a new arb and droplinks on front - should I just go for trailing arms first, then arb if still a problem after this?
I am getting to the end of my tether now!
