Read my thread on how to fix the airbag lights. It also tells you where to get the cables and what software you need.
Usually it's a ten minute job to sort...
I've tried the trick and multi ECU scan with a rarebear cable - my fault was traced to front seats - however once I managed to remove the seats, it appear that someone has beaten me to them - they had soldered the wires directly
I cleaned and re-fitted all other connections I could find but no joy - MOT is looming so some lateral thinking with clock bezels removed, light cluster out - black tape over light tube and all assembled - sorted!
Not everyones' cup of tea, but the igniter circuits of my seats are either shot, or someone has botched the red-red / blue to blue philosophy.
Did you check the boot connectors? If multiecuscan says the curtain airbags are to blame then the connectors in the boot are to blame.
Failing that it could be a shot airbag ACU.
