Re: Finaly got to the bottom of my handling problem, I hope!
The beat goes on....
Indie checked the alignment - it is spot on, fractionally off the nil toe, and he is happy with this.
He has driven the car and can find nothing wrong, but will take to another ex Mango colleague for a check-up.
I have had a revelation - I have put around 1000 miles on the car with a knackered ball joint and bust rear axle bushes.
With this in mind, the tyres may have changed a little.
On the dry and normal roads, all seems fine.
On a wet road, or straight, it handles decidedly odd - no judder or jitters, just skids off the road a little. Steering also nice and tight.
Rather than get another new set of tyres as still around 5-6mm tread, should I swap front and back, or is this going to be worse?
Don't want to buy new rubber incase it is not the tyres. Fed up of throwing money at this thing!
