In the end I took it to my local garage to get them to loosen it. Indeed one side was LH thread.
Anyway, went to try and fit it earlier today, and it did not appear to fit properly. I think the big hole on each end of the brace is there so that it sits over the central suspension turret (the area with a piece of rubber on the end, and centally surrounded by the 3 or 4 nuts. This brace did not sit over that area correctly.
The brace was advertised as being for the 156 TS model. I thought it would therefore fit the JTS too.
Can anyone tell me if the suspension turrets are designed any differently on the JTS, and if not then have I been sold something which has been mis-described.
