Shock advice for 147

Going to bite the bullet and invest in new shocks. May as well, as the rest of the suspension is replaced!

Two options:

1. Stock.
2. Uprated.

Will have to check insurance first though.

Where can I get the best deal on a set of 4 stock shocks?

Also, what are people thoughts and quotes on aftermarket shocks?

Is there anything else I am likely to need - like new springs, boots etc, or should they all be re-usable?

Bilstein B6 or Koni Sports(yellow) adjustables will both work very well with standard springs and your car will ride and handle better than new.
NB the Koni are really only adjustable for wear...

I like the Sachs Sports Line Performance. They're cheap and quite better than standard ones.

Re: Shock advice for 147

Alfashop are doing a set of 4 for 235 including VAT and delivery (I think a brand called Brode, something like that). Apparantly uprated from original spec, although some lucky 147's have had some fitted at the factory.

Will I do better for my money than 235?
