I'm not sure why you suspect the battery, as it should be sufficient to power the car. However, the state of your battery rather than its as new specification has more relevence here. In fact, the state of the alternator output is what governs the working voltage in the car's electrical system. the battery is only there to start the engine, or power electrical systems when its not running.
In this situation, I wouldn't consider the battery. If, as I understand it, your car has an intermittent fault in the ABS & VDU systems, then the only likely useful thing I can think of would be to have a diagnostic check run and have the live readings for the ABS sensors simulatneously checked through an oscilliscope.
