Re: Windscreen washers not working !!
The type of valve isn't important, you can use a generic valve from any motor factor. All these valves do is stop the wter in the lines from running back to the bottle. My 155 had a one way valve for a fish tank air pump on it for years! Never blocked or clogged. As a test, just take the jet nozzle assembly out, and run the washer, if water emerges, it is the valve at fault, then take off the scuttle panel, this can be done without taking off the wiper arms by getting the wipers to stand straight up on the wnidscreen and turning off the ignition! (Same way as for changing the pollen filter on 156s) Then find the joint in the pipe, or the valve, remove it and try the washers again. Just remember that as soon as you turn the ignition off the wipers self park. When one of my washer jets stopped working it turned out to be a kink in the pipe that collapsed when the weather got really hot over the summer!
