Alfa Romeo 156

Mechanical Code

Hi guys,

I have an Alfa Romeo 156 and I have lost all keys but master key. My master key broke last week but I managed to find the Transponder chip and so I used the chip with the left over metal key to turn on my car.

The problem is that now I have lost the metal key BUT I still have the transponder chip.

Is there any way I can get a key cut so that I just use my transponder chip to turn on my car?
I do not have much $$$ so I am fishing out the cheapest way to do this.

My other question is how do I go about getting a Mechanical Code from Alfa so a Locksmith can cut a key for me?

Thank you in advance,

You can get the codes from an Alfa Main Dealer (as long as your car has its original locks).

Your car DOES NOT have the old Master Key system. So you never had a "Master Key".

A good locksmith may be able to cut a key from a lock.
