Help 147 Front Brake Pads

Hi guys,

Has anyone changed their front brake pads themselves?

Is it fairly straightforward and do you need any special tools?

Easy enough, same as any other car.

Re: 147 Front Brake Pads

Should be dead easy, probably have to remove a couple of bolts and ease off the pad carrier and that should be it, rears are harder as the piston needs ot be turned.

Didn't someone do a "how to" for pads, for first timers ?

Re: 147 Front Brake Pads

its easy, get the pads pushed back away from the disks and there are two allan bolts which are coverd by plastic caps, pop off the caps and undo the allan bolts and the claliper is off and put the new pads in (well in a nut shell)
