Code 2 extraction from 156 immobiliser
I was wondering if anyone has successfully extracted the immobiliser PIN code from a blue Code 2 immobiliser?
I'll attach some pics of the unit for reference.
I had an ECU fail in my GTA, got a kit from the UK, which is also a bit dodgy and wouldn't start the car occasionally, so I need the 5 digit PIN so I don't have to tow the thing home when this happens. The seller in the UK (even though he offers a full 12 month warranty) will not refund me, he wants the unit back to fix it, but with an intermittent problem how will I ever know that this has been done? Also he wasn't the most pleasant person to deal with.
So I bought a virginalised ECU from Autolusso, installed it in the car. I had previously given my original blue box to my mechanic as I didn't think I'd have a use for it, got what I thought was mine back, but it turns out I was wrong. I mistakenly thought that the remote locking was keyed to that box. So I have installed this virgin ECU with a box that I don't have keys for and don't have the PIN code to reprogram the existing keys.
Does anyone know when the virgin ECU picks up the code from the immobiliser, i.e when first turned on or first successful start?
