alfa romeo 156


hi im rob and i have a Alfa 156 t-spark and when put the ignition on the butterfly in the throttle housing flips up and down constantly making a clicking noise this wont start obviously,can any help me find out what is causing this?

Sounds like you have a dead ECU - try unplugging the throttlebody and see if it'll start then . It'll idle badly and obviously you'll have no throttle, but the flashing light on the dashboard and clicking throttlebody should be gone.

I can sort you out with a good used replacement if required.
