Re: KONI sport suspension kit???any good
I have no personal experience with Koni but from what I read on some forums (not Alfa) Koni hasn’t great built quality. I read about dampers leaking already in the box or breaking in 2 weeks. It is not in general, but I heard about this more times.
About the adjustment, absolutely everyone I know uses them is the softest setting possible, as otherwise they are rock hard. Some people say the adjustment is there only to compensate how the damper wears out, so each 10k kms you make it a bit stiffer to maintain the original (softest setting) characteristics.
Dont forget you can adjust only rebound (damping force when the spring expands/ wheel goes down), it is not fully adjustable.
Koni FSD are considered to be far superior to the yellow Konis, but it is new model line, so nobody has experience with the quality.
Me personally, I would consider SACHS, BILSTEIN, KW or Autodelta.
