Re: 155 better looking then 156/147 ???
Oh dear...I think this is all getting a bit silly, and I have to declare my own guilt in this. In the preliminary stages, feeling sorry for Ralf who was in last place I used a second account to give him an extra vote which resulted quite correctly in Selespeed deleting all my votes (which also meant Selespeed lost a vote, as did Jamieboy and a couple of other people). Anyway, my wife then joined, and voted and those people who lost a vote regained them. I presume Selespeed introduced the 3 month rule in an attempt to stop my wife (and a couple of mates of mine who'd joined) from voting for Ralf again (Sue may have done, but DM and JW are unlikely to), although this was then obviously a bit unfair on people like Nomad, which I think is one of the reasons the rules have been modified slightly.
However, all this accusations of 155s ganging up on 156s and vice-versa, and mods bending the rules really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. We're all passionate about Alfa's, so shouldn't we all get on. I voted for Ralf in the final (despite never owning a 155 and owning a GTV) because I think he really looks after his car, and also he's very helpful to other forum members. My brother (who used to have a 155 but has never owned a GTV) nominated Happy Man's car for similar reasons.
Surely, just because we're passionate about cars doesn't mean that we should take this poll so seriously that we can't enjoy it, have a bit of fun, but still respect each other
In every step, I hear your sobbing
Dare I break the shade with one caress
Dare I trespass to lift the veil
To touch the lips so soft and frail

Know well that however right a man may be they always find the fallen one guilty.
