156 grill fitting

Does the grill between the fog lamps on the 156 just snap into place?

I just got new one as mine never had one but it doesn't seem to want to stay in place. Are you suposed to screw it in from the back?

Supplier said they don't do any pins to hold in place...

Read this thread;

The one I bought six months ago is still gathering dust in the shed.

Re: 156 grill fitting

The grill is held in by one-shot pins which push into holes but are never designed to come out again. Unless you want to entirely dismantle the bumper to get access to the back of the grill then it goes like this;

1) Remove old grill by pulling it off. This will snap the little fixings but so what, its not visible.

2) Glue the new grill on with Araldite or similar good quality and strong two-pack glue (don`t use 'no more nails!'). Don`t go mad with the glue if you have an intention of removing the grill again in the future.

Roswell, you do well to look embarrassed. Its the simplest job you can do

Hopefully will get to do it this weekend and it won't sit and gather dust for 6 months, like the clicking noise i haven't sorted as i pull away...
