SCT oil filter - use it or avoid it?

I am going to change oil in my alfa. I bought Castrol 10W-60 I allways use and as promotion I received SCT oil filter free of charge from the shop. Now I am not sure if I should use it or to visit my alfa stealer and buy original.
My alfa dealer wants 12 EUR for the filter and I have to drive 100km = other 12 EUR. So is the Alfa oil filter worth 25EUR or should I use the one I have?

stick to genuine

it was designed for the engine whereas other makes can be "universal". I've heard of oil pressure problems using non OE filters and had the problem on my 155 V6. Using a new Coopers oil filter the pressure was about 1/2 bar lower. So I changed the filter (and oil again) to an Alfa filter and the pressure was back up to what I was used to.
