Re: mystery object!
PA66-6F30 isn't a part number, its a material code. It has to be on there because of the 'end of life directive' legislative requirements.
PA66 is essentially Nylon. The 6F30 sounds like a code to describe the percentage of additive or glass content in the plastic.
The number under the Bosch logo (1 928 404 088) is a proper part number but if no-one recognises this as an Alfa number then it's probably a generic Bosch number, i.e. not part an Alfa or Fiat specific component. This also probably means that it is supplied as part of a bigger Bosch assembly on the car (some likely examples have already been mentioned - i.e. electrics, pumps, washer units etc) which would certainly have to have an Alfa number on it.
I would expect an Alfa specific part to have the Alfa or Fiat logo somewhere on the moulding too. Very often the OEMs don't allow supplier logos to be visible on their parts.
