Alfa 147

147 Side light problem.

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help. I was trying to change a sidelight in my 147 only to find that the rod for pulling it out had previously been snapped. Without it, I can't pull the side light fitting out to change the bulb. It is the passenger side and access to the light unit is very tight. It looks like the only way of getting at the buld would be to take the headlight unit out. I wonder if anyone has any experience of doing this and how easy/difficult it would be or whether it should be going to the garage!
