Pirelli tyres have a soft compound and may be what you are after. Once they heat up they will stick to the road well. The down side is that they wear out quicker than harder compounds. I know the Police and some of my friends use Goodyear whilst I have BF Goodrich which are really good (GTV mind).

Now i'm still on bridgestone potenza re-02 and I don't like that tire at all...

hard rubber but they do last long.

Next set of tires must be as comfy as possible! So thinking of a set of

Pirelli Pzero Rosso but they don't come in 215/45 R17.

225/45 would be nice but if they fit it will be reaaall close on front!

You can easily add a small spacer to the front wheels - 3 or 4mm - this would give you the extra clearance but you would need longer wheel bolts too.

The 156 still has plenty of wheel arch up front with a spacer and 225/45 tyres and I assume the 147 would be the same
