SHES ALIVE! did as davealfa11 suggested and removed the plugs, now i feel stupid for not doing this simple step sooner and jumping to more complex things it could have been but plugs were soaking wet with stale fuel and they looked pretty much expired,
as i had changed the plugs in the mrs 147 a few weeks ago i had the old ones still in the garage and although they werent the best they were working as her missfire turned out to be a leaking rocker gasket filling the plug holes with oil,
so i pulled pump fuse spun her over and then waited 45 mins and put them in, first turn of the key and bang she started :-),
bit smokier than id like but that could be all the petrol that hasnt been burning when ive been trying to start, as it was getting on i diddnt run it long as also has a full autodelta stainless exhaust and i diddnt want to p**s the neighbors off!
so tomorrow ill let her run up to temp and see if the smoke goes away
thanks again to all who offered advice!
