Alfa GT 1.9jtd remapped turbo overshoot
I've been searching every topic, but never came to a conclusion to my doubt.
I had my GT CF4 remapped, beside some confidence in whom remapped it, I decided to check for myself how things were doing underneath, beside my lack of knowledge.
I found something that is concerning me a little bit, that is like a pattern, where whatever revs I'm standing if I step full-throttle I got an overshoot of about 200mBar or a bit less, than it decreases to meet desired boost.
I know some overshoot is usual, my doubt is... is 200mBar acceptable?
Am I having an usual behavior?
what really scared me was, as you can see on file number 4, because it matched an area where almost 2550mBar was requested 2750mBar was achieved.
Some notes on the attachs:
file 1: only 4th gear, the pattern is only achieved on lower revs
file 2: same as 1, but then shifted to 5th, I could not keep throtlle because just caught behind another driver, but 2676mBar called my attention
file 3: "the scary file" shifted to 5th on 4500revs so I got 5th engaged on about 3400rev zone very close to 2550mBar desired boost, so I got 2754mBar spike
file 4: same as 3 but shifted earlier at 4000revs, where 5th engaged at 3200revs where desired is a bit lower than previous file, and got 2677mBar
is this acceptable behaviour? or not being solenoid, sticky vanes, pipes... is something that can be improved on some ECU map?
Thanks in advance
